december birthday party...

Here are some photos from a Birthday Party we threw for my sister Megan and my best friend, Christen. We had a small gathering at Black Bottle, in Belltown. They have a great room for parties, and Paul was amazing!

I highly recommended hosting an event there.

Jill Severson, pastry chef at Mistral, made the chocolate cupcakes with gold sprinkles - they were divine. She also made the truffle favors. Maggie Hogan, boxed all of the truffles in gold boxes and ribbon - so cute.

I made the sputnik with styrofoam balls and toothpicks, then spraypainted with metallic gold spray. They turned out great!

december parties...

I want to share a few fun parties I have hosted and also have helped with! But the very first is our 1st Christmas Tree. :)

The second is a Holiday High Tea and Cookie Exchange. I hosted this at my house and it was a ton of fun!

The next day I went to a birthday party that was a Les Miserables theme. It was so fun and gorgeous. My mom decorated the table and I helped with some of the decor as well!

christmas party...creature version 2012

I wanted to share some of my favorite photos from Creature's Christmas Party.

It was a lot of work, but it was such a fun party. I used the tinsel chandeliers from my wedding,
bought the stars from Ikea, and the large blow up balloons were from Amazon,
they are the 40" size. The event was held at Melrose Market Studios on Capitol Hill and
catered by Ravishing Radish.

I put disposable cameras out instead of a photo-booth (budget didn't allow), the result was fabulous photos.
